Growing
the orchids is done using advanced horticultural techniques. We protect
the environment by using biological interference techniques against
insect attack instead of chemical control methods with their potential
negative environmental impact.

When harvesting
our Orchids we pack them immediately in the final packing material
in order to minimise the risk of damage. The flowers are transported
from the greenhouse to the packing area by a monorail system in
which the stems hang, further minimising the risk of damaging
the flower.

It
is not an easy job to prepare a fine box of assorted orchids during
the full season. Each customer has its own wishes for their specific
mix of colours. Worldwide we carefully selected new and existing
varieties. This way we have created an assortment that meets all
specific requirements for each individual customer. It enables us
during the full season to prepare an assorted box of orchids at
the request of the customer. Of course we are constantly breeding
and testing new varieties in order to adapt and improve according
to the needs and wishes of our customers. |
